Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide Wave Code, keep accounts secure, operate sponsored-ad unlocks, and improve reliability.

• Account information, such as name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, and login session metadata.
• Product usage data, such as feature usage, app version, device type, operating system, crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data.
• Ad completion data, such as ad challenge identifiers, completion status, timestamps, fraud-prevention signals, and reward/unlock state.
• Developer workflow data you provide to the agent, including prompts, selected files, pasted images, uploaded files, tool choices, and model settings.
• Payment and billing metadata when applicable, such as transaction identifiers, payment status, invoice records, and wallet or credit history. Full payment credentials are handled by payment processors and are not stored by Wave Code.

How we use information

• Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
• Run AI coding agent requests and pass required context to selected AI providers.
• Verify sponsored-ad completion and prevent abuse, fraud, or automated reward farming.
• Provide support, troubleshoot bugs, measure reliability, and improve product quality.
• Improve Wave Code models, model routing, prompts, agent behavior, safety systems, and future product experiences using usage data, feedback, prompts, files, tool outputs, and completion outcomes where permitted by law and user settings.
• Comply with legal, tax, security, platform, and payment obligations.

AI providers and third parties

Wave Code may send prompts, files, screenshots, tool outputs, and other context you choose to provide to third-party AI model providers or inference gateways so the agent can respond. We may also use collected interaction data, feedback, and outcomes to improve our own model experience, agent workflows, evaluation systems, and future model performance. We also use infrastructure, analytics, notification, storage, payment, and authentication providers. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Wave Code.

Mobile app permissions

The companion mobile app may request permissions such as notifications, device identifiers, and media access only when needed for sign-in, ad delivery, upload, or product functionality. You can manage permissions in your device settings.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for account operation, security, legal compliance, billing, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and product improvement. Some records, such as payment and security logs, may need to be retained for longer legal or accounting periods.

Your choices

• You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account data.
• You can remove local files from prompts before sending them to the agent.
• You can disable notifications from your operating system or browser settings.
• You can request account deletion from the Data Deletion page.

Children

Wave Code is intended for developers and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect data, including access controls, encrypted transport, logging controls, and least-privilege infrastructure practices. No system is completely secure, so users should avoid submitting secrets unless required for the task and should rotate credentials if exposed.
